Executive Director, Challenger Learning Center-St. Louis
Tasmyn Front is the Executive Director of the Challenger Learning Center-St. Louis and has over 20 years of administration experience in informal science education.
Since 2002, Ms. Front has led a team of dedicated educators, managers, and volunteers at the Challenger Learning Center to develop and facilitate award-winning programs, which have been recognized both locally and nationally.
Ms. Front has raised over $2.6 million dollars in local and national support for the Challenger Learning Center from corporations, private foundations, and individuals, including Boeing, Monsanto, Emerson, Express Scripts, Missouri Space Grant Consortium, and the Clark-Fox Family Foundation.
Prior to coming to St. Louis, Ms. Front was the Senior Manager of Exhibit Projects at The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, California. She also served as the Exhibit Projects Manager at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, Illinois, where her skills and leadership of cross-departmental project teams has resulted in successful venues for over 50 national and international traveling exhibitions and several permanent exhibitions.
Ms. Front serves on the board of directors at New City School, and the Jewish Community Relations Council. She also leads a local running group, the Missouri Running Club. Ms. Front graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana with a degree in Industrial Design.
