Katie O’Hara

At Challenger Center, Katie O’Hara supports all external and internal communication initiatives that raise awareness about Challenger Center’s mission. Her duties include social media management, media relations and developing marketing materials. She works closely with the VP, Communications to ensure all communication efforts align closely with Challenger Center’s brand and mission.

Before joining Challenger Center, Ms. O’Hara worked as an Internal Communications Specialist for Amtrak and as an Account Executive supporting nonprofit, health and fitness, and entertainment accounts for a Public Relations agency in Columbia, Maryland. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism.
