Gwen Griffin is the founder and CEO of Griffin Communications Group and 29-year veteran of the communications industry, serving in various corporate and agency roles during her professional tenure.
Ms. Griffin is a 33-year veteran of the strategic communications industry, serving in various corporate, nonprofit and agency roles over the years. She is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Griffin Communications Group. Since 1997, she has led the Griffin team in developing and executing strategic communications campaigns and programs for both consumer and trade audiences. Major global brands and industry leaders that have trusted their communications to Ms. Griffin and her team include NASA, Blue Origin, Boeing, Million Air, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Universal Pictures and Paramount Pictures, LEGO, Bodycote, CVR Energy, Sprint PCS, Feld Entertainment, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants and many more.
Earlier in her career, she held positions such as Director of Marketing for NASA-Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Public Relations/Promotions Manager for Space Center Houston NASA’s visitor center at the Johnson Space Center, and Area Marketing Manager for Southwest Airlines. She also worked for several other agencies including Edelman Worldwide and DPW Public Relations.
Ms. Griffin focuses her volunteer time supporting workforce development and STEM education. She serves on the executive committees of the Challenger Center and Space Center Houston board of directors, serves as the Chairman of the Dean’s Advisory Council, College of Sciences at the University of Central Florida and is Director Emeritus of the Conrad Foundation
