Major Gifts Officer
Ellen Howes serves as Challenger Center’s Major Gifts Officer. In her role, Ms. Howes connects individual donors with Challenger Center’s current and future aspirations, helping align the donor’s philanthropic goals with the organization’s vision. Collaborating with the Vice President, Development, Partnerships, and Strategy, the Manager, Development and Partnerships, and the entire Challenger Center team, she identifies new potential donors while maintaining and growing existing donor relationships.
Prior to joining Challenger Center, Ms. Howes worked in the development offices of American University and the National Museum of Women in the Arts. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and had the joy of studying with and working for the UMass Oxford Summer Seminar at Trinity College, Oxford University during her undergraduate experience.
