Turner N. Whiley Teacher of the Year Award

The mission of Christa McAuliffe, Teacher in Space and the 51-L Challenger crew continues as Challenger Center for Space Science Education each year awards selected teachers across the country with the Turner N. Wiley Teacher of the Year Award.  

Wendell G. Mohling Outstanding Aerospace Educator Award

This award recognizes excellence in the field of aerospace education. The recipient of the award will be honored during the Awards Banquet and the Aerospace Educators Luncheon at the NSTA Conference. This NSTA award is sponsored by Sally Ride Science and Challenger Center for Space Science Education.
