STUDENT ART CONTEST

Celebrate the Garriott Science Challenge activities by creating a design that symbolizes the adventure and discovery of space exploration.

 
Design Gallery
  

Space exploration will encompass all facets of the human experience including our need for creative expression! Students of all ages are encouraged to submit a design for a patch or T-shirt that represents Richard Garriott’s educational activities around his flight. You can create a design that symbolizes the adventure and discovery of space exploration. If your design is chosen to represent the Garriott Science Challenge, it will appear as our program logo on our website, be available on a patch and on a t-shirt! One t-shirt will get flown into space. We will post student's submissions in our Student Design Gallery.

Interested sponsors for this activity, please contact Shannon Rush at srush@challenger.org. Sponsors will be acknowledged on the website and the T-shirt.

If your design is chosen to represent the Garriott Science Challenge, it may appear on a t-shirt!  It may even get flown into space.

We will post some of your submissions in our Student Design Gallery.

Please read carefully before submitting your patch. Thanks.

  • All submissions become the property of Challenger Center, and if mailed, will not be returned.
  • Your patch image should be attached as a zipped (.zip) file, no larger than 3MB.
  • For more information about how to zip a file on Windows computer, please visit http://www.7-zip.org. For more information about how to zip a file on a Mac computer, please visit Apple tips.
  • You must also submit a SIGNED MEDIA RELEASE FORM by your parents or guardian with your patch image submission. Download the Media Release Form and submit it as a scanned file above or fax it to: 703.683.7546.
  • Please do not press BACK or RELOAD button after you click Submit button. Please wait for your files to upload as it may take some time to upload your files depending on your Internet connection speed. For example a 3 MB file on a dialup connection can take up to 6 minutes to upload.
  • If you're having difficulties sending your patch design via this upload form, you can send your patch design on a CD or DVD to the following address:
