CHALLENGER LEARNING CENTER OF GREATER WASHINGTON

The Challenger Learning Center formerly located in Alexandria, Virginia recently had to close its doors to the public due to lack of funding and the need for a new location.

This was a difficult decision knowing what a positive impact our Center has had on the local educational community. If you would like to our Mission Simulator and Educational Programs brought back to the DC Metro Area, please contact Marty Schwartz, Eastern Regional Director, to find our how you can help reinvent the Challenger Learning Center of Greater Washington.

We hope to establish new partnerships with local, state and federal agencies, corporations, other non-profit organizations, and community groups to allow the Challenger Mission to continue.  We plan to fly again in a new and exciting venue. 

If you have not yet joined us in our efforts, we hope that you are moved to work with us to aid teachers and inspire the next generation of inquisitive young minds by donating to the Challenger Learning Center of Greater Washington. The students we teach today will be those who lead us to the frontiers of the future.
