Mission Scenarios

Summer Space Adventure camps

are offered during the month of June each year. Public missions and out of school contract missions are available through the reservations department at (904) 630-6601.

Teacher workshops

are scheduled once a year for incoming new teachers who are bringing their students to the Learning Center

Giving Opportunities

Challenger Learning Center in Jacksonville, Florida is currently securing funding for refurbishment of its computers so the Center can continue its mission to serve 6th grade students, teachers, parents, and business professionals in the greater Jacksonville area. If you are interested in donating funds please call (904) 630-6601.

Volunteer & Internship Opportunities

Challenger Learning Center in Jacksonville has an 8th and 7th grade S.T.a.R. intern program for students who are attending Kirby Smith Middle School. Students who are interested in becoming a S.T.a.R. intern must be enrolled at Kirby Smith, enter the career skills class, fill out an application, and be selected via panel interview.

Adult volunteers can serve as mission specialists during the academic year. Please call (904) 630-6601 and ask to speak to Sheree Kearns if you wish to mentor missions for DCSP 6th graders.
