Programs

Mission Scenarios

Corporate Missions

A six-hour program for 25 to 30 people. This out-of-this-world training focuses on “ real world skills ” necessary to succeed in today ’ s technical workforce . If “ Failure is NOT an Option ” for your organization ’ s mission, then hone workplace competencies while building your team with this outstanding professional development opportunity.

Classes for Home School Students

The mission simulation is the culminating event of a space-based unit of study that challenges home-schooled student(s) to apply their mathematics and science knowledge to a simulated space mission. The first two sessions prepare the students for the space mission simulation; the final session will be the mission simulation.

e-Missions

Operation Montserrat and Space Station Alpha are middle and high school programs and Moon, Mars and Beyond is an elementary school program, which use Internet technologies to deliver distance learning programs.

Public Missions

Offered on selected Saturdays for families, youth groups, community organizations and the general public.

Giving Opportunities

Young students are natural scientists. Our missions and programs inspire them to explore and to learn as they continue to grow. With your help, we can have a powerful and long-lasting impact on our students. Together, we can create a new generation of lifelong learners.

For the Challenger Center of Colorado to continue its success, we urgently need your support. With your generous gift, you will help keep our Learning Center network growing, make our classroom programs available to more students, and train a new generation of teachers.

For information on how to help support us, contact Tracey Tomme at (719) 234-1612 or visit our website at www.clccs.org
