Mission Scenarios
School Missions
The simulated space missions excite and inspire students in mathematics, science, reading, and technology. The entire Challenger experience, from pre-mission curriculum activities to post-mission press conference, is interactive, interdisciplinary and exhilarating. The Challenger program meets many state and national education content standards.
Team Building Program for Businesses
The Challenger simulated space mission is an extraordinary team building experience. Rather than sitting in a conference room discussing teamwork, employees sharpen their skills in an exciting and realistic space adventure. They put into practice the teamwork and communication skills necessary in today's business environment.
Community Missions
Experience the thrill of space travel with your friends, family, scouts, or club members. Everyone from age 9 to 109 is invited to join us on occasional Fridays for an evening of fun and excitement.
Space Explorers Summer Camps
Children ages 7-12 discover our solar system and beyond through exciting science experiments, NASA activities, planetarium shows and games.
Participants learn beginning astronomy, construct and launch rockets, and discover how astronauts stay alive in space. The weeklong camps conclude with an “astronaut” experience aboard the Challenger’s space station (ages 7 to 9) or participation in the Rendezvous with Comet Halley simulated mission (ages 10 to 12).
