Location: Chattanooga, TN

Job Title: Director

Description: This position is responsible for the operations and management of the Challenger STEM Learning Center and creating program goals and objectives. Responsibilities include: providing vision, direction, and day-to-day management of the center; developing, implementing, evaluating, and modifying business and marketing plans to ensure resources are maximized; expanding educational programs and opportunities for the K-16 market as funds and resources permit; maintaining good relations with regional school systems and other key officials and administrators to maximize support of the center; developing, implementing, monitoring, and modifying personnel and operational policies and procedures to accomplish the goals and objectives of the center.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred;  3-5 years experience in museum, science center, educational programming or related field; demonstrated success in business management combined with sound leadership abilities; excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.
