Read all About It

From the moment the Challenger 51-L crew was first announced, people all over the world followed the joys, hopes, and heartbreak of these explorers and their very special mission—the education of our next generation of scientists, engineers, teachers, and yes, even astronauts.

After working with the Challenger Learning Center at Prairie Aviation Museum for nearly a year, I am continually amazed by its ability to reach students who do not excel in a traditional classroom. I am proud to be a part of a program that can make such a positive change in education year after year.

Janet Moore

Lead Flight Director
